Abu Akhzam bin Utayk bin al-Nu'man al-Ansari was a companion of Prophet Muhammad from the Ansar. He participated in the Battle of Uhud and subsequent battles. He was martyred at the Battle of the Bridge (Jisr Abi Ubayd) during the Muslim conquest of Persia. He was the brother of Sahl bin Utayk, who was a Badri companion (present at the Battle of Badr).
