ابو الدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ممتاز صحابی تھے۔ وہ قرآن کے بڑے عالم اور پہلے قاضی تھے جنہیں دمشق میں مقرر کیا گیا۔ وہ زہد و تقویٰ میں مشہور تھے ۔ نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں 'امت کے حکیم' کا لقب دیا۔
