Adam bin Rabi'ah bin al-Harith bin Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim was a companion of Prophet Muhammad from the Banu Hashim clan of the Quraysh tribe. آدم بن ربیعہ بن حارث بن عبد المطلب بن ہاشم نبی کریم کے صحابی تھے اور بنو ہاشم قبیلے سے تعلق رکھتے تھے۔ وہ نبی کریم کے کزن تھے، کیونکہ ان کے والد ربیعہ، نبی کریم کے والد عبداللہ کے بھائی تھے۔ فتح مکہ کے دن نبی کریم نے ان کا ذکر کیا جب انہوں نے فرمایا کہ 'سب سے پہلا خون جو میں معاف کرتا ہوں وہ ابن ربیعہ کا خون ہے۔' آدم بچپن میں قبیلہ بنو سعد بن لیث میں دودھ پیتے ہوئے ایک حملے میں مارے گئے تھے۔

آدم بن ربيعة بن الحارث بن عبد المطلب بن هاشم صحابي جليل، ابن عم النبي محمد. قال النبي يوم الفتح: 'أول دم أضعه دم ابن ربيعة'. قتل آدم في الجاهلية وهو رضيع في بني سعد بن ليث، فأبطله النبي. ذكر ابن حزم أنه الذي قال فيه النبي ذلك.
