Akrama

Akrama is the Urdu variant of the Arabic name Ikrimah which means 'female pigeon'. The name is most famously associated with Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl, a companion of Prophet Muhammad and a narrator of hadith. He was the son of Abu Jahl, one of the fiercest enemies of Islam, but embraced Islam and became a devoted Muslim. He is known for his bravery and scholarship.
