علی ابن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ اسلام کے چوتھے خلیفہ، نبی کریم کے چچا زاد اور داماد تھے۔ وہ 599 عیسوی میں مکہ میں پیدا ہوئے۔ وہ دس سال کی عمر میں اسلام قبول کرنے والے پہلے مرد تھے۔ وہ اپنی بے مثال بہادری، گہرے علم، فصاحت اور تقویٰ کے لیے مشہور تھے۔ انہوں نے نبی کریم کی صاحبزادی فاطمہ سے شادی کی۔ وہ 661 عیسوی میں شہید ہوئے۔

علي بن أبي طالب هو رابع الخلفاء الراشدين، ابن عم النبي محمد وزوج ابنته فاطمة. ولد عام 599 م في مكة داخل الكعبة. كان أول من أسلم من الذكور. عُرف بشجاعته الفائقة وعلمه العميق وبلاغته وتقواه. استشهد عام 661 م.
