Rida

Rida (also spelled Ridha) is an Arabic name meaning 'contentment', 'satisfaction', 'approval', or 'the fact of being pleased' . It is derived from the Arabic root 'r-d-y', which signifies pleasure, satisfaction, and acceptance. In Islamic theology, 'rida' represents a high spiritual station of being pleased with Allah's decree. The name is used widely by Arab Christians and Druze as well as Muslims, making it a neutral name in the Arab world . The Iranian Persian version is Reza, the Turkish is Rıza, and the Urdu is Raza .
