Talha ibn Ubaydullah (RA) was one of the ten companions promised Paradise by Prophet Muhammad. He was among the first eight people to accept Islam and among the five who accepted through the preaching of Abu Bakr. He did not participate in the Battle of Badr because he was sent with Saeed ibn Zaid to gather information about the Quraish caravan. The Prophet gave him a share from the spoils and counted him among the participants of Badr. He participated in the Battle of Uhud and all other battles alongside the Prophet. He was known for his bravery and was among the six members of the Shura Committee established by Umar. He was martyred in the Battle of the Camel in 656 CE.

طلحہ بن عبیداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ ان دس صحابیوں میں سے تھے جنہیں نبی کریم نے جنت کی بشارت دی تھی۔ وہ اسلام قبول کرنے والے پہلے آٹھ افراد میں سے تھے۔ وہ غزوہ بدر میں شریک نہیں ہوئے کیونکہ وہ سعید بن زید کے ساتھ قافلے کی معلومات جمع کرنے بھیجے گئے تھے، لیکن نبی کریم نے انہیں بدر کا حصہ دیا۔ وہ غزوہ احد اور دیگر تمام غزوات میں شریک ہوئے۔ وہ 656 عیسوی میں جنگ جمل میں شہید ہوئے۔

طلحة بن عبيد الله هو أحد العشرة المبشرين بالجنة. كان من الثمانية الأوائل الذين أسلموا. لم يشارك في غزوة بدر لأنه أُرسل مع سعيد بن زيد لجمع المعلومات، لكن النبي أعطاه نصيباً من الغنائم واعتبره من المشاركين. شارك في غزوة أحد وجميع الغزوات الأخرى. استشهد في معركة الجمل عام 656 م.
