Zubair

Zubair (also spelled Zubayr) is an Arabic name meaning 'strong', 'powerful', 'intelligent', or 'wise'. The name is most famously associated with Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (c. 594-656 CE), a prominent companion of Prophet Muhammad and one of the ten promised Paradise . He was a cousin of the Prophet and a renowned military commander who played a leading role in the Ridda wars and the early Muslim conquests of Persia, Syria, and Africa. Muhammad bestowed upon him the title 'Hawari Rasul Allah' (Disciple of the Messenger of God) . The name carries the legacy of bravery, leadership, and wisdom.
