Maryam

Maryam (Arabic: مريم) is the Arabic name for Mary, the mother of Jesus (Isa). She is one of the most honored and revered women in Islam, and the only woman mentioned by name in the Quran. The Quran has an entire chapter named after her, Surah Maryam. Maryam is described as a virgin who miraculously gave birth to the Prophet Jesus. She is praised for her piety, chastity, and devotion to Allah. The name carries immense honor and is one of the most beloved names for Muslim girls. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that Maryam is one of the four best women in paradise, along with Khadijah, Fatima, and Asiyah.

مریم عربی نام ہے جو حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کی والدہ کا نام ہے۔ وہ اسلام میں سب سے زیادہ معزز اور محترم خواتین میں سے ایک ہیں، اور قرآن میں نام سے مذکور واحد خاتون ہیں۔ قرآن کا ایک پورا باب ان کے نام پر ہے، سورہ مریم۔ وہ ایک کنواری تھیں جنہوں نے معجزانہ طور پر حضرت عیسیٰ کو جنم دیا۔ وہ اپنی پرہیزگاری، پاکیزگی اور اللہ کی عبادت کے لیے مشہور ہیں۔
